Special Events

Throughout the history of the Northland 300, many unique events have been held by the Northland 300 Board of Directors and Northland 300 participants in an effort to continuously support the athletes of Special Olympics Minnesota. These events are open to all who wish to join in the fun and help raise funds for a great cause.

HAVE AN OLD CELL PHONE YOU WANT TO GET RID OF? Recycle your old cell phones at any Northland 300 Event. Just bring any unwanted cell phones you have to any Northland 300 event and we will turn your "trash into cash" through the "Old Into Gold" recycle program to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota.

PERSONAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS

If you are interested in planning an event to assist in your personal fundraising efforts, please review and complete the "Application for Special Event" form and/or contact Kathy Karkula at karkulak@somn.org or 612-604-1272.

THE NORTHLAND 300 HAS PARTNERED WITH MANCAVE, a meat of the month fundraising program.

Thanks to the efforts of one of our alumni, Brad Rief, Northland 300 participants have a new avenue to help raise funds for their participation in the Northland 300 and Website visitors have an opportunity to help support a great cause!

For every month that you or your customers are enrolled in the Meat of the Month program, ManCave will donate a substantial portion of the sale (25%) to the Northland 300/Special Olympics in your name.

If you are a Northland 300 participant please make sure to tell your customers to put "your name" in the Sales Representative spot.

If you are a Website visitor please put "Northland 300" in the Sales Representative spot.
